Middle Peace

A great musician suggested that we imagine how peaceful the world would be IF there were no religion. Yet, religion is a key factor in global violence. They say that peace comes at a price so what exactly is it worth to you? In the Middle East especially there is no escape from religion. The turmoil involving the Israelis and Palestinians are simply too old to resolve. If they are not ethnically alike then they are simply carrying on ancient traditions of destruction. But if they are ethnically alike (or the same) then aren't they committing genocide? Ultimately, peace is only possible if the two sides agree to it. If they are influenced by other countries or groups to pursue war/pain/suffering/terror then it will fail. Add religion to the mix and it's no surprise that peace is likely not a priority and the innocence suffers.

XBL Lobby Selection: What IF?

What IF XBL game lobbies allowed for lobby selection rather than random connection? For one thing it would allow friends to connect with each other in teams rather than random draw. It would also help with clan practices.

I get the feeling it's designed to force players to play with people outside of their cliques. SOMETIMES I'd rather not play with children that are disruptive on game chat and adults that are verbally abusive to players (especially children). WTF, do I have to draw the old man card and file complaints all damn day?

Expendable Action: What If?

The Expendables was a great action movie with lots of cameos! I was thinking it would be great to produce a companion movie based on Arnold's crew. Then in a follow-up film pit both mercenary groups in a heated battle against each other. But have them discover in a cliffhanger of sorts that they are being played by another group headed by Willis. That's like the battle of Planet Hollywood!!
